Joris Cijffers (1969)

An upcoming design talent who was already winning plaudits while at design school in Eindhoven. For his graduation project, he designed a combined fountain-urinal unit that attracted considerable interest. At the 1997 Dutch Furniture Awards, Cijffers received a merit notice for his Ga-Z chair. He has designed two dining tables for Dutch Originals in the style of Willem Gispen. |
